"Turbine have announced live at Connect 08 that Lord of the Rings Online will roll out its first official expansion before the end of the year. Titled, 'Lord of The Rings - The Search for the Dwarven Back Passage' players can join Frodo and his Fellowship as they search for the elusive Dwarven Back Passage of Moria. The expansion will include:

A new level cap of 51.5

Seven New Zones you've never heard of nor can pronounce

Plastic Surgeons which will allow breast implants and Botox injections

Tattoo parlours which allow ear and nipple piercings and Tattoos. Some of the much anticipated tattoos will include a picture of Gandalf engaged in a passionate kiss with Dumbeldore and a bullseye which creeps can tattoo on their forehead,

A new crafting skill, Scrounging. This skill allows the player to claim benefits and get free horse rides. In raids Scroungers can utilize skills to increase their chances of winning roles by saying thinks like, "Hey mate, can I have that epic armour it looks fab and I've got no money like!"

A new class, Stripper. Strippers are a class specifically designed for distraction. While in raids strippers can keep certain mobs entranced while the rest of the raid kicks botty. Strippers will only be allowed for elves and humans as no-one wants to see a Dwarf or Hobbit naked.

Phishing! Yes players finally get to Phish. Players gain proficiency in Phishing by hacking into other players accounts and stealing their identity. High level Phishers will be able to take on bosses like GM's and Turbine developers!

Housing - New addition to houses will be Gimp Boxes, a cellar for storing dead bodies and a trap door which will release the hounds of hell on unsuspecting visitors at the touch of a button.

New Gear - Turbine will introduce a new set of gear called the Tear 1000 Set. Tear 1000 gear is based on the number of estimated tears you will shed before you get this set.
